Now others are exposing them as well. (Mar 02)

Over the past few years, www.onesalt.com has exposed many of the lies and deceptions that have been dreamed up and "sold to the public" by America's so-called "Christian Right." Fortunately, there are others who have been exposing such lies and deceptions as well. The following three books are really good examples of this; they can be ordered through Amazon.com

1. "Blinded by the Right: The Conscience of an Ex-Conservative" by David Brock ($18.17). This fascinating true story is written by one of the chief architects of the "vast right-wing conspiracy" referred to by Hillary Clinton. It describes in detail the right-wing dirty tricks operations of the Gingrich era and the "echo effect" that Brock manipulated throughout our nation's news media and internet establishments to successfully make right-wing lies, hatreds, and hypocrisies appear to many to be believable.

2. "You Are Being Lied To: The Disinformation Guide to Media Distortion, Historical Whitewashes & Cultural Myths", a compendium of excellent articles and essays compiled by Russ Kick ($13.97). This book exposes all sorts of popular lies and deceptions on a wide range of topics ranging from the Lockerbie bombing to "Was Jesus a myth?"

3. "The Ultimate Save Money Guide: How Everyone 50 and Over Can Protect, Save and Grow Their Money." By Martin D. Weiss ($17.47). This book fully explains why America's stock market has performed so poorly over the past two or three years. It not only shows where most of the money went (to unscrupulous corporate executives), it also shows what they did to make that happen and why. Finally, it provides a number of interesting "little known" tips on how to invest your money safely.
